Roy Mau
Roy M. Mau, 70, of Mountain View, died July 1, 2019, at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born Sept. 13, 1948, in Honolulu, he was a woodcarver for the former Kamaaina Woods in Honokaa and a U.S. Navy veteran.
Private services were held. Family requests no monetary gifts or flowers.
He is survived by companion, Dayle Miyashiro of Mountain View; sister, Robin (Derek) Hanzawa of Honolulu; brothers, Rod Mau of Honolulu, Richard (Fai) Mau, Jr. of Indonesia; uncle, William (Lois) Keb of Honokaa; nieces and nephews.

Lawrence Takara
Lawrence Gensuke Takara, 85, of Hilo, died July 1, 2019, at home. He was born in Honolulu in July of 1933 and lived in L.A. for more than 40 years.
